By accessing or using the Romjee platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Romjee Inc. ("Romjee," "we," "us").
You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
Romjee provides a client portal platform for freelancers, including project management, file sharing, invoicing, proposals, messaging, and scheduling features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will provide at least 30 days' notice for material changes that affect your use of the Service.
You retain full ownership of all content you upload, create, or share through the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant Romjee a limited license to host, store, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service. We will not use Your Content for any other purpose without your consent.
You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights to share it. You must not upload content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, or violates any third party's rights.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are in US dollars and do not include applicable taxes. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice — existing subscribers are grandfathered at their current rate until the end of their billing cycle.
Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if you are unsatisfied. After 14 days, no refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms of service.
When you use Romjee to invoice and collect payments from your clients, Romjee acts as a technology provider, not a payment processor. All payment processing is handled by Stripe. You are responsible for compliance with applicable tax and financial regulations in your jurisdiction. Romjee does not charge additional fees on client payments beyond your subscription fee.
The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by Romjee and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.
Your Content remains yours. Romjee's Content remains ours.
You may not use the Service to:
You may cancel your account at any time from Settings → Account. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We retain your data for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently delete it.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. In cases of severe violations (fraud, security threats, illegal activity), we may terminate immediately.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Romjee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make commercially reasonable efforts to maintain uptime and security but cannot guarantee perfection.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Romjee and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting a notice on the Service at least 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
